This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the circumstances under which refunds or cancellations may be available for purchases of Pre-Op Canada online courses and related educational services.

By purchasing a course or service through Pre-Op Canada, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.

1. Course Purchases

Pre-Op Canada provides access to online educational courses and related digital materials following successful registration and payment.

Because course materials are delivered digitally and may become accessible immediately after purchase, refunds are subject to the conditions outlined below.

2. Refund Eligibility

A refund request may be considered when:

The request is made within 7 days of purchase; and
The learner has not accessed or substantially used the course materials.

For the purposes of this policy, accessing course materials may include viewing course videos, downloading course resources, accessing presentation materials, completing assessments, or otherwise substantially participating in the course.

Once substantial access to the course has occurred, the purchase may become non-refundable.

3. Course Access and Digital Content

Because Pre-Op Canada courses contain digital educational materials that may be accessed immediately following purchase, a refund may not be available once the learner has begun accessing substantial portions of the course.

This includes situations where a learner has:

Viewed course lectures or videos;
Downloaded course materials;
Accessed presentation files;
Completed quizzes or assessments;
Completed a substantial portion of the course; or
Otherwise substantially used the educational content.

This restriction is intended to protect the intellectual property associated with the course and does not affect any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

4. Technical Problems

If you are unable to access a course because of a technical problem with the Pre-Op Canada platform, please contact us as soon as possible.

We will make reasonable efforts to resolve technical issues and restore access.

Where a technical problem cannot reasonably be resolved and prevents the learner from accessing the purchased course, Pre-Op Canada may, at its discretion and subject to applicable law, provide an extension of access, alternative access, or a refund.

Problems caused by a learner’s own device, internet connection, browser, software, or other equipment may not qualify for a refund.

5. Duplicate Purchases

If you accidentally purchase the same course more than once, please contact us promptly.

Where the duplicate purchase can be verified, Pre-Op Canada may refund the duplicate transaction, provided that the duplicate course access has not been substantially used.

6. Cancellation Requests

If you wish to cancel a course purchase, please contact Pre-Op Canada as soon as possible.

Cancellation requests should include:

Your name;
The email address associated with your Pre-Op Canada account;
The course purchased;
The date of purchase; and
A brief description of the reason for the cancellation request.

Submitting a cancellation request does not automatically guarantee a refund. Eligibility will be determined in accordance with this policy and applicable law.

7. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Pre-Op Canada does not guarantee the exact time required for a refund to appear in your account, as processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.

Where a refund is approved, Pre-Op Canada may also revoke access to the associated course and digital materials.

8. Course Cancellation by Pre-Op Canada

Pre-Op Canada reserves the right to cancel, postpone, suspend, or substantially modify a course or program.

If Pre-Op Canada cancels a course before the learner has received access to the course materials, Pre-Op Canada may provide an appropriate refund or alternative arrangement, subject to applicable law.

If a course is substantially modified or discontinued after access has been provided, Pre-Op Canada will assess the circumstances and may provide an extension, alternative access, or refund where appropriate.

9. Promotional Purchases

Courses purchased through promotional pricing, discounts, special offers, or other reduced-price arrangements remain subject to this Refund & Cancellation Policy unless the applicable promotion expressly states different refund conditions.

10. Certificates and Refunds

Where a course provides a certificate upon successful completion, a refund may result in the cancellation or invalidation of the associated course completion record or certificate.

A learner who receives a refund may no longer represent themselves as having completed the applicable Pre-Op Canada course.

11. Transfer of Course Access

Course registrations are generally intended for the individual learner who purchased the course.

Course access may not be transferred to another individual without prior written authorization from Pre-Op Canada.

Unauthorized transfer or sharing of course access does not create an entitlement to a refund.

12. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Refund & Cancellation Policy is intended to limit or exclude any rights, remedies, guarantees, or protections that apply to you under applicable consumer protection or other laws.

Where applicable law provides a right to a refund, cancellation, withdrawal, or other remedy that cannot legally be excluded or waived, that right will continue to apply.

Pre-Op Canada may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time.

Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.

The policy applicable to a purchase will generally be the policy in effect at the time the purchase was made, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
